Aluminum railings are very strong, in fact, aluminum railings are up to 40 times stronger than many wood railing systems. Because aluminum does not warp, fade, rust, or rot, you can be assured that your investment will be maintenance free and look great for decades.
Resent testing indicates that posts with welded base plates fail at loads that were an average 35% lower than plates that have mechanical base plate connection. The strength of welded base plates might be deceiving and so they are not generally recommended. The test results correspond with data published by CSA and ANSI certification bodies.

If you plan of having the perfect look for your new sundeck, then you need to have a huge selection of architectural colors, profiles and features. At Landau Installations we are proud of letting you choose what type of look you want for your deck. You can choose from:

Powder Coating
All of our railings go through a multi-stage process in order for them to be prepared for outdoor use. This process is how they are able to pass the toughest architectural standard, the AAMA 4 2604 for color uniformity, film adhesion, impact and chemical resistance criteria.
